Recently, the Jiangsu Association and Chamber of Commerce of Queensland was invited to participate in a Queensland Parliament visit and exchange programme organised by MyStep. Through MyStep’s thoughtful arrangements, we had the opportunity to visit the Queensland Parliament once again and gain a deeper understanding of the state’s political system and public governance.
The event brought together young Chinese professionals and scholars from a wide range of fields. In a relaxed and engaging atmosphere, participants toured the Parliament House, listened to presentations, and exchanged views on topics including Australia’s political system, social development, and multiculturalism.
As an important part of the Chinese community in Australia, the Jiangsu Association and Chamber of Commerce of Queensland has always been committed to promoting exchanges between China and Australia, supporting the development of its members, and actively participating in local community activities. Visiting the Queensland Parliament alongside members of the young Chinese community not only deepened our understanding of Australian society and its institutions, but also further strengthened connections and interaction among different communities.
